Say Art Studios
Gallery shows, art events and studio classes, Say Art Studios is located at 119 East Saint Louis Street in the Franklin House Hotel Building. Come see the creativity manifesting in this historic building (est 1855-1864) just across from the train station in downtown Pacific Missouri. Calendar updated regularly, check in often for all types of artistic exploration. Featuring work from a wide range of talented artists on the gallery wall with rotating shows exploring a variety of conceptual themes. Workshops will range in categories from outsider art and craft classes to professional, fine art focused learning. Creating spaces for feeling inspired, Say Art Studios. Start Your Engines!
Submission GuidelinesNo Charge for Submissions. Accepting Artists who are ages 18 and up. Artists will be charged a hang fee per piece. The hang fee for each piece is $20. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces per show deadline date. All shows are curated, space is limited. All entries are subject to selection by Sayohm / Say Art Studios. Early submissions are welcome however all selection will occur after show deadline date. Limited gallery space, submissions will be notified asap via return email as to acceptance and art drop off appointment time.
Artwork for consideration must be submitted via JPEG format. File size for each JPEG cannot exceed 2MB and should be named as such, “Artist's Name_Artwork Title_Dimensions.jpg”
Gallery pieces must be framed properly, wired to hang. No sawtooth hangers please. Accepted pieces are subject to rejection at time of art drop off if framing is judged poor or unacceptable. Gallery wrapped canvases are allowed with finished edges.
Event spaces for creative shows, art parties and meetings include: Gallery, Studio, Media Room, Performance Corner, Dedicated Gluten-Free Kitchenette and Courtyard.

Come early morning for a stroll down Saint Louis Street; spend the afternoon enjoying the festivities and plan to stay late for the car show’s fireworks after dark. See the incredible cars on the street and wander into the gallery to see the exhibition.

Calling artists and makers to submit artworks about how fear can be transformative when challenging our senses. Beauty can sometimes be found in the disturbing corners of life, where and when? How are fear and beauty related? When is fear playful? When is the grotesque absolutely lovely?
